Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India-Afghan Friendship Dam, earlier known as Salma Dam, that has been rebuilt with India's aid. The will irrigate 75,000 hectares of land and generate 42MW of power. After inaugurating the dam in Afghanistan, the prime minister will proceed to Qatar, Switzerland, the US and Mexico.
